ZACK MARTIN MINISTRIES!
Zack Martin: I Sing For The Lord!! I have always loved music, from a child up. Since I became disabled, I use music as a tool to reach people for Christ. I served as minister of music, and youth pastor for 35 years. I sing Southern & Country Gospel genre, but I have sang most kinds of Christian music. As youth pastor, I found it necessary to change with the changing times, so I have done Contemporary music in my youth ministry. The only things I have never tried is Christian Rap! (LOL) I had the privilege to lead many youth to the Lord during my years as youth pastor, and also adults. Although I love singing, my first and foremost goal is to tell people about the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I do this through song and personal witnessing. I am confined to a wheel (power) chair, and have felt the leadership of the Lord in a new era of ministry through CDs and writings. I, also, do a few concerts from my power chair, but, my main outreach is through the Internet. I am a member of Indie Gospel Artist (a world wide organization), and I post songs from my CDs there, as well as articles (blogs) I write. I have had comments on my articles world wide, and I am so grateful to be able to reach out to people around the world even though I can't get out and tour. I have several of my articles posted in the forum tab here on my site, check them out and comment. With exception of a few local concerts and dates, I do most of my work from my home here. I have several disabilities (in fact my voice is about the only thing on my body that is still any good) that keeps me mostly here at home.
How wonderful it is to serve the Lord! His Grace Is Sufficient To Fill All Of Our Needs!! As I said, my body isn't much good any more, but my voice is still good, so I use it to Honor and Glorify Jesus. On my latest CD; "Jesus, The Only Name That Saves," (2012) I have recorded 3 songs written by a dear friend of mine, Marty Whiddon, who went to be with Jesus in March of 2012. "Jesus, The Only Name That Saves," (the title song) was one of Marty's last songs. "Reach For The Bible Instead Of The Bottle, was written by Marty for a friend out in Texas that has a problem with alcohol. Then "A True Master's Degree, which I fell in love with. You can go to the order CDs page and see all of my CDs.
